{"id":16584,"date":"2019-06-01T12:04:21","date_gmt":"2019-06-01T12:04:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/convoi77.org\/?p=16584"},"modified":"2020-10-30T14:28:49","modified_gmt":"2020-10-30T14:28:49","slug":"une-ceremonie-officielle-pour-recompenser-les-eleves-en-pologne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.convoi77.org\/en\/une-ceremonie-officielle-pour-recompenser-les-eleves-en-pologne\/","title":{"rendered":"Award ceremony at the Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews, in Warsaw\u200e"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/convoi77.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0094-copie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-16585 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/convoi77.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0094-copie-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 26, 2019, pupils from the French high school\u00a0<\/span><b>Ren\u00e9 Goscinny,\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Warsaw, Poland, received an award their participation in the Convoi 77 project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They received their certificates at the Polin Museum in the presence of several official representatives:\u00a0<\/span><b>Pierre L\u00e9vy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the French ambassador to Poland,\u00a0<\/span><b>Magdalena Turowska<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Assistant Director of International Cooperation at the Polish Ministry of Education,\u00a0<\/span><b>Georges\u00a0Diener<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Cultural Cooperation Advisor and Director of the French Institute of Poland,\u00a0<\/span><b>Zygmunt Stepinski<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, director of the Polin Museum,\u00a0<\/span><b>Jolanta Herzog<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, director of\u00a0Warsaw Jewish Historical Museum,\u00a0<\/span><b>Louis-Albert Mensdorff-Pouilly<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, principal of the Ren\u00e9 Goscinny high school and\u00a0<\/span><b>Georges Mayer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, president of the Convoy 77 association.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students wrote the biographies of seven people deported on 77th convoy to Auschwitz. They started their research on January 26, 2018.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The French ambassador, Pierre L\u00e9vy, underlined the importance of this work and its contribution to the commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/convoi77.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0038-copie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-16586 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/convoi77.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0038-copie-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>The award ceremony was also an occasion for other headmasters and teachers to discover the Ren\u00e9 Goscinny high school students\u2019 work.
